  1. Hi,

I tried to install BridgeChecker v1.2 on my laptop running Windows XP SP3 home edition (french).

However it looks like BridgeChecker doesn’t seems to work (i.e BridgeChecker doesn’t disable my wireless Broadcom 802.11b/g card whenever I plug in my LAN cable).

Is this software limited to the windows’ english language only ?

    Best Regards

    Nick

  2. non english options coming in next version.

  3. Same here.

Have you a planning for delivering this future version including support for non english Windows ?

    Regards,

    Virgile

  4. Tried your product but it doesn’t see my Intel 5100 AGN card. Too bad, it looked like it would have work nicely.

  5. Question #1:
I have installed it on my Win7 computer – and after setting up, it correctly disconnects my wireless adapter. When every 10 sec. there is a sound – like it is toggling the adapter on/off – but i can see it leaves the adapter off.

    Question #2:
it seems to run only on 32-bit edt. of Win. For example we have tried it on Win7 X64, but it fails.

  6. Trying to use Bridgechecker 1.2 with Windows 7 (64 bit), but get a Microsoft .NET Framework error message.

I have installed Bridgechecker as administrator. I have .Net 3.5.1 installed.

    This is the exception…

  7. I installed bridgechecker on my 64bit machine and it throws an exception that the Microsoft Jet OLEDB provider is not available and on doing some more research, there are no plans to make a 64 bit version of that provider. Can you move your local data storage to a serialized XML dataset which would work on both?

  8. do you plan to bring out a version for apple macs 10.5+

  9. Not plans yet for a WiFi Scanner for 10.5+. The main reason is that the APIs we use are not available in 10.5
