Besides that one, there is also program called Vista Anti-Lag which should do the work. But the problem is that both of these programs don’t work. At least for me and my friends also who have Vista. So laggs are still totally ruining gaming.

I have windows vista premium home edition installed on my laptop which has built in wireless modem which is connected to a wireless linksys modem. Is there anyway that you can create 2 userids that if you signon with one userid it automatically disables the modem and if you signon with the other user id it has connection

How do you turn it off WITHOUT disconnecting from wireless? This stupid utility creates a massive lag spike every 20-60 seconds that makes it impossible to play any online games.

The problem does not happen in XP, and if it does, you can just disable Wireless Zero without disconnecting from your wireless network.

There are two WLAN optimizer programs out there which are supposed to help, but don’t. The concensus is that the programs work for about 15% of users. The rest tend to either uninstall vista or quit gaming on their PC entirely.

So, do I want DX10 or do I want the internet? Vista is like a terrorist organization, asking which body part they want me to cut off. What a shitty choice to have to make, pardon my french. Trying to solve this problem is like talking to a brick wall. Where the hell is the solution?
