How to Redeem a Free Promo Code for iOS App in iTunes
Apple iTunes / App Store promo codes are 12 alpha character codes that allow you to download app/music/media at no cost.
If you have been provided a promo code by a software publisher follow instructions below to download app on your iOS device. Instructions below use code @WLANBOOK (Note: this is not a real code)
Tap the App Store icon from the Home Screen.
Navigate to the New section on the Featured tab.
Scroll to the bottom of the list to locate and tap the Redeem button.
Enter the promo code and tap the Redeem button in the upper right.
Tap done on the Thank You screen, then tap the home button to return to the home screen.
You should see the new app installing.
