iWIDS – Application Configuration/Settings

Show/Hide: Will toggle display of discovered wired and wireless devices
Matching Criteria +/-: Is MAC adjacency rule used to match wireless bridges and wireless router access points
Scan Interval: How often application scans and generates results
Broadcast MAC Checked: Ignores MACs from broadcast MAC space
Locally Administered MAC Checked: Ignores MACs from locally administered space
Status: Display last time scan completed
Email: Will toggle email settings
SMTP Host: Enter your SMTP host IP address or hostname. NOTE: not all SMTP servers allow relaying of email
From: From email address
To: To email address
Subject: Custom subject (e.g. WIDS scan results Washington, DC, building 101, floor 1)
Pretext: Custom text to be printed before results
Posttext: Custom text to be printed after results
Email after each scan (selected): Will email results after each scan completes
Email only if Wireless Devics on Subnet hsa values (selected): Will email only if devices are detected on subnet
