MacPerf is a bandwidth performance measurement app for OS X. The app can operate as a client and/or server. MacPerf can be used for OS X-to-OS X testing or iOS-to-OS X testing. MacPerf should work with other operating systems that support iPerf3 but has only been tested with our WiFiPerf iOS app.

Apple rejected the app because we used “Mac” in the name of app and Mac is a trademarked by Apple.

We didn’t think using Mac in the app’s name would be an issue because other apps have similarly formatted names.

We have appealed the rejection and hope they allow us to use MacPerf as the app’s name.
