Rebuilding a 90,000 Cubic Foot Verizon Cable Vault Devastated by Hurricane Sandy

The electronics and copper cabling was damaged but the fiber cabling is fine. Verizon is going to take this opportunity to build out a parallel fiber network instead of replacing damaged copper with new copper. Very cool video below and full story at The Verge with pictures.
