WLANController.com Topology Feature

The next major feature that will be released soon for http://manage.wlancontroller.com is a enterprise class way to organize groups and devices. We are putting the groups and devices under a Topology tab and it is looking very good. Sign up here for an account and be one of the first to get access to this feature when it is released.

Things may change for final version but current UI that is being tested is below.

Topology > Groups Tab – Main screen to help organize locations and devices into a hierarchy. Folders/Groups can moved, deleted and renamed. Currently we have not limitations on the number of folders allowed. Create hierarchy tree with as many parents/children as you like and drag/drop devices into folders.

Topology > Groups on Map – Place groups/locations on Google maps.

Topology > Images of Groups – Add floor plan or any overlay image.

Topology > Devices on Map – Place devices on map/floor plan. This feature will be leveraged for location tracking.
