World’s Largest WiFi Hotspot

A little WiFi humor….

Question: Who has the world’s biggest WiFi hotspot?

Answer: Linksys

A few years ago the above was probably true because all Linksys WiFi routers shipped with default SSID linksys, configure for channel 6 and no encryption. Based on WiGLE stats, linksys is still the top SSID and I suspect in more that half of the cases no encryption is being used.
